2001 Scott County Fair Schedule

| Monday, August 27 |
- (8 AM- 12 NOON and 1 PM- 5 PM) Enter all exhibits except 4-H, Agriculture,
Culinary, Flowers, and Educational Booths. (Closed for lunch, noon-1
PM)
- (6 PM) Formal opening of Scott County Fair.
One-price arm band rides.
- (7:30 PM) "Little Miss" contest.

| Tuesday, August 28 |
- (8 AM- 12 NOON) Enter 4-H, Agriculture, Culinary, Flowers, and Educational
Booths. Prepare all departments for judging.
- (1 PM- 4 PM) Judging of Exhibits.
- (6 PM- 10 PM) Exhibit building open.
- (8 PM) "Little Miss Junior" contest.

| Wednesday, August 29- Merchant's Day |
- (6 PM- 10 PM) Exhibit building open. $1.00 OFF one-price ride ticket
with cash receipt from merchant.
- (6 PM) Midway opens.

| Thursday, August 30 |
- (6 PM- 10 PM) Exhibit building open.
- (8 PM) "Miss Scott County Fairest of the Fair" contest.

| Friday, August 31- School Day and Senior Citizens Day |
- (9 AM- 4PM) Discount Ride Tickets.
Midway closed at 4 p.m., reopens at 6 p.m.
- (9 AM) Exhibit building open.
- (8 AM- 12 NOON) Enter all livestock and poultry except beef cattle
for evening cattle show.
- (12 NOON) Poultry judging, open to the public.
- (3 PM) Goat show.
- (4 PM) Sheep show.
- (2 PM- 5 PM) Enter all beef cattle for Scott County Cattle Show.
- (6 PM) Midway reopens. Local gospel music by Nick Manis, the Hambys
and Victory Bluegrass.
- (6:30 PM) Scott County Beef Cattle Show.
- (7 PM) Brian Free and Assurance.

| Saturday, September 1 |
- (2 PM- 5 PM) Free gate, carnival open. One price rides until 5 PM.
- (2 PM- 10 PM) Exhibit building open.
- (6 PM) Gate and carnival re-open.
- (7 PM) Bluegrass Music.

- (1 PM- 2 PM) Remove exhibits and pick up premium checks.
